Heard from.Adam today, after he arrived at Neels Gap,Georgia. Met up with a nice group of fellow hikers at Springer Mt. and have been trekking together. Active bear sightings around, but so far he's safe! Enjoying himself, resting up and restocking food .
Hello Adam or Adam's Mother (which ever reads this first. This is "Sherpa", I hiked several days with Adam and I assure you he is safe and heading north. Adam it was a pleasure getting to know you on the trail and we hated to see you head up the trail with out us. Good luck and please send us a picture from Katadin. I know you will make it. Tell Lyndi and Pesky Beaver the Sherpa crew says hello if you are still with them.
