Harpers Ferry, WV

I walked into town around 3pm. Harpers Ferry is the home of the Appalachian Trail Conservancy headquarters and is also considered the psychological halfway point of the trail. I was officially the 766th northbound thru-hiker to check-in. Here are a couple photos
 from there.
My lovely home state is apparently the center of the high risk zone for Lymes Disease. The darker the color the higher the risk, CT is black.
Myself and Glutenpuff outside the ATC headquarters. We both started the trail March 31st and now walked into Harpers Ferry together. Before any of the comments roll in, We were aiming for the corniest photo possible. Success!

  2. Way to go you two. How awesome that you reached it together. Hope your second half is as memorable as the first half. Good luck and keep on keeping on. Wish I was there with you.

  3. way to go! Love you in the "skirt" and Glutenpuff (great name!)in the shorts! You'll soon be in our Mont Alto territory where Bob and I met and eventually hiked the Mid State trail together...along with so many other miles in the "neighborhood". Enjoy the ridges!
